Grill Repair Bros.

I just met the team for the first time today. They finished the previous job early and called just as planned. They assessed the issues with my grill and have to order parts. This team is responsive and care about their customer. More to come after the repair is completed. Update: I don’t know what happened on their end but the repair fell through. Initial assessment was on 10/23/21. I contacted them after 5 weeks to get status, but no reply. Given the pandemic situation everyone was dealing with, I waited another 10 days and still no response. I ordered parts myself on 12/8/21 from Best of Backyard and received them within 2 weeks. I did receive a reply on 12/8/21 from Grill Repair Bros. confirming the cancellation.

Grill Repair Bros came out 11/19/21 to look at my gas fireplace. The service tech was extremely friendly and decided a part needed to be ordered. He told me I would get a call within a couple days with an estimate. I have tried calling (many times), leaving messages and emailing and have not heard anything back. Generally I would just write them off and call another company, however they charged for the initial service call (but said that fee would go towards the repair bill). At this point I feel like they had no plans of repairing my fireplace and instead just planned to collect money for coming out to “look” at it. I’m still holding out hope they will get back to me and make this right.

2 techs came out to assess the issues. They were both very friendly and seemed very knowledgeable. They said they would email the repair estimate in the next few days. This was 8/27/21. 2 months later still nothing. I called and called and called. The receptionist keeps saying someone will call me back but no one ever calls back. Finally I was able to reach one of the techs, he says that we never paid the quote fee which I was not aware of. No problem, paid it same day. He assured me that they would send it over so that we can get the repairs started. Here we are another 2 months later, a whole 4 months since their initial visit as it is now 12/13/21and still NOTHING. WARNING!!! These guys came out in May to look at all our fireplaces and grill. Very efficient, gave me a quote for all the work. I paid a large deposit for parts and now 6 months later and repeated attempts to reach them via phone and email, have gotten one call back three weeks ago and was told they would call me the next week. Absolutely would never use them. i plan to file BBB complaint and small claims court for my money back. Sorry for your health issues, but You called me once in 6 months, I have called probably at least 20 times including speaking to your assistant. Jessie was able to arrive earlier than the appointed time. He was professional, quickly assessed the problem with the grill and was able to get it fixed within an hour. He also offered helpful advice on cleaning and maintaining our grill. Highly recommend Grill Repair Bros and will definitely use them.
