We would honestly rate this team six out of five stars if possible. Our 20’ fieldstone chimney was in desperate need of repair, requiring both a new poured cap and replacement mortar throughout. We called H.A. O’Neil because of their existing top-tier masonry reviews. Pat came out quickly after we called to kindly provide us multiple options for proceeding and gave impressively economic quotes. The team arrived just a few weeks later and were wonderful people to work with. Not only did they take the time to fully tidy up every single evening before leaving, but they also put up with our dog and kids pretty regularly nosing around them. We truly could not be more pleased with the professionalism, process, or outcome and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to friends.

We have already gotten so many compliments on our new chimney! HAO removed an old chimney to the roofline, and rebuilt another from the roofline up. Night and day. They did a wonderful job keeping to the aesthetic of the home. We feel more secure in knowing we have a new chimney over our heads that is structurally sound and pleasing to the eye! We needed our chimney and entire stone wall repointed on our home in Stockbridge, MA. We chose H A O'Neil because they were responsive to our request, had an admirable record of work on major homes in our region, and proposed the work promptly and completely. We are delighted with our choice. O'Neil's crew arrived on time, worked efficiently, and were a pleasure to have at our home. They are friendly, professional, and expert. The extensive job required scaffolding and a portapotty. The work is thorough, the pointing done beautifully, the wall cleaned with acid, and the joints sealed against water. When the work was complete, Harley O'Neil, the owner, visited to ensure our satisfaction. All materials were removed, and the site left clean. This is a first-rate masonry contractor. Any future
