Habitat ReStore - Texarkana

This place is very well organized, the employees are polite .. I am from Ohio and told my mother about the habitat for humanity and we were very pleased to see there was one in town . We were in search of a piece of furniture that would be a blessing for my 11 old niece who is severely handicapped, and has outgrown her crib . They had exactly what we were searching for but the price was that of a new one , when I asked if they would consider selling part of it I was left without a response even after explaining the situation we are in , this is a humanity store you would think they would have empathy for our situation and at least lowered the price even though we only needed half of the bunk bed ...but that was not the way it went ... Isn't this stuff donated?? So we are on the search for

Habitat ReStore is a great place if you are in need of some low cost furniture and household items. They are also a great place to donate items you don’t have any need for anymore or even volunteer some of your time. They are a blessing to the community.

Nice staff, good quality furniture, and other finds for home. One of my favorite weekend getaway.

This place is well organized. Not as much stuff as other locations . They had a good selection of new paint, which was priced well for being new. There were clothes which I haven't seen in other locations. They had several new light fixtures. More people need to donate. The staff was really nice. It is unfortunate that prices are non-negotiable. I have been a long time customer of HFH Restore. I have purchased many items (the good and the bad). The higher prices make buying goods here more of a gamble than in years past. The revenue goes to a great cause.

Their stock fluctuates. They usually have a decent amount of furniture and a wide variety of home repair items. Lots of books mostly religion and romance. Old records and pictures/frames. Some glass ware. The prices for a lot of things are on the high end for a resale store.
