5 stars for Harriman Heating & Cooling. Jon Harriman along with Aaron, Zach & Annette and perhaps a couple other guys I forgot the names of... who all gave us excellent service. The guys came out same day our furnace stopped working and tried all day to fix and save our old furnace but to no avail and so we ended up buying a brand new high efficiency Trane furnace just before the holidays. They installed a temporary furnace to make it through the very cold couple days until the new one could be installed. Did a fantastic job, were very friendly and courteous, on time and cleaned up afterwards. Very professional and I even got a thank you note! Highly recommend them!

well, I’ve gotten to know the fellows at this heating spot pretty well over the past five years. I live in a studio apartment in Ypsilanti, but the house I live in was built in 1859 and literally radiators were invented about 1855 so my radiator was as old as this house is and every fall we would have to call them to help us jumpstart the radiator because it was at the highest peak in the house and so the water flow wouldn’t get up there unless we raised the temperature and had to fill the radiator and bleed it and what not,… The radiator was actually beautiful. It was about 14 coils wide and I’m 5 feet tall and it came up to my chest. I never thought about how much it weighed. We recently had a furnace replaced by Harriman Heating and were extremely pleased with the company but especially the people. Jon Harriman reviewed our current furnace and lead us through the choices we had between repairing the over 20+ year old system or replacing it with a more efficient new unit. He gave us straight answers and objective information so we could make the choice best for us. There was no “upselling” or oressure to buy, just facts. We decided to get a new unit and it was installed by Aaron who was very capable annd pleasant to deal with, he also answered all of the questions we had on the installation. Scheduling online was incredibly convenient, and I appreciated that the company proactively called to offer an earlier appointment. On the day of service, they sent a text with a live tracker and a photo of the technician, followed by a personal phone call—not an automated one—letting me know that John Gnass was on his way. John was professional, knowledgeable, and very thorough. He assessed my old water heater, which had a slow, yet progressive leak, and clearly explained my options for replacement.
