Hendrix Heating & Air Conditioning

Hendrix was in my opinion the best Ac company in Georgia and they installed two Goodman Ac units on my property . They did it at a great price because I was selling my home. They left my property spotless and one time I left the key and I did not know they had installed the upstairs’ unit , because the house, stairs , everything was spotless, and the upstairs was reading 89 degrees , I calked them up and asked when they could install the new Ac unit I had paid for and they said, go turn it on , we installed it that morning . I turned it on and in about a half hour it was down to 78 the way I like it. I suppose they should have turned it on when they left but no big issue . Ok, now the problem and the train wreck. First they sent out a tech that did not know what he was doing . I came home

Friendly reminder to get more than one opinion when dealing with HVAC! Technician was friendly and personable, and diagnosed the issue correctly. However, I was able to have a stellar repair done by another company who quoted me four times LESS than Hendrix did. Saved me a solid $1500.

Beware waste of time. They claim to be a carrier dealer but will only work on systems they have installed.

They did good work, but undersized the unit. I live in a 3 story house and they reassured me a 3 ton unit was big enough to cool the house in a two zone system. It was installed in may and did the job as that’s not the hot months we get into the summer and it barely keeps the house below 80. Called to ask if it was damaged and was told we’re having a hot summer and if it keeps it below 20 from the high then it’s doing its job. Spent 7.5 k to have to install a window unit to keep the second level cool. Big disappointment / waste of money. Also the failed to bury the power line to my ac it just hangs.

Called for a repair and was expecting a wait as it was for a warranty part and those usually have a wait time to receive. Not only did I not have to wait, they arrived the next day, replaced it in 30 minutes and didn’t charge me any ridiculous fee for looking at it. The person on the phone was kind and helpful. The man who replaced it was professional, courteous, and efficient. I cannot recommend them more!
