Home Depot has the absolute WORST carpet installer partnership. Do not ever order and get your carpet installed through Home Depot. The company United is very inconsiderate and untimely. They do not care what about their customers. It has been over two months since we ordered the carpet and it has just been sitting in the warehouse. Granted, they messed up our order the first time and still did not make us a priority to install. The manager of the carpet department at Home Depot is also helpless. The first time we went in to talk, he agreed with our situation that it was not right and dumb that our little 12x10 bedroom was going to have seven seams. Jerry Seay in kitchen design is the absolute best! We would never have gotten through our kitchen project with out him! I’ve heard other people’s horror stories of kitchen projects, but we had non of that. Chris has also been a great help. He was so helpful with picking color schemes. DONT GO WITH HOME DEPOT FOR WINDOWS.!!!!!!!!After getting several quotes from various companies, we decided to go with home depot windows and installation. The main reason we decided on Home Depot is because they have Anderson windows. The previous owners of our current home added an extension to the house and used Anderson windows. We were so happy with the look and quality of those windows, we decided on Home Depots Anderson. When the Home Depot rep came out to our home to give us a quote, we explained we are going with Home Depot because we want all of the new windows to match the old Anderson windows. Got new windows installed. They came 6 hours before thier appointment and when i told them they had the wrong time they said someone changed on thier sheet (come to find out it was changed and i wasnt told) and they are here now. This made me have to change every appointment i had for the morning. I then instructed the guys to save to old windows. They tried really hard but had to cut them up. I told them not to spend too much time on it because i just need the indavidual window pieces with the glass because i am going to use them for a project. I reiterated my instructions when they informed my brother they couldnt save them. I again said i didnt care and just needed the parts with nonbroken glass. So they took all of the windows instead.
