Home Services at The Home Depot

The 3rd party service Home Depot hired for the Granite counter top install was far from customer centric. The company was challenging to get ahold of and scheduling was worse than a telecommunications company. The final product does look very nice and the install went smooth.

Only $29 to have a furnace repair guy (subcontractor ABC HVAC) come to my home for an estimate on the repair; he lief to me that my furnace was beyond repair; that I should spend $10k for a new furnace. I called a local guy and he came to give a 2nd opinion at no cost. It was a $300. part & $200 for labor. It works perfectly now !! I only saved $9500 by using an honest local guy vs a BIG BOX contractor who was only interested in selling me a $10k furnace. I learned my lesson! I didn’t complain to HD or request my money back. It was not a good use of my time. However, after writing this review I think it’s my duty to tell them about this terrible experience. I can’t be the only homeowner their contractor swindled.

Everything was beautiful. If you want things done to your home let Home Depot take care of you. Everyone one was professional. Nini, Yasime and Feny is wonderful workers.
