We hired Jon with Homegrown Bounty to finish the last section of our retaining wall/system and also install some Netafim irrigation, and he did a great job! He was responsive and professional, communicated well, and the retaining wall looks beautiful, we're thrilled with how it turned out.

After relocating from New York City to Encinitas, buying a house with a sweet sized garden but the worst water guzzlers around and so badly planned, I starting searching for a landscape designer who could help me remove the lawn ad all the other thirsty plants, I found Jon Kardos. Jon and I planned a garden including major irrigation, a water tank, lawn removal, swale and stone riverbed construction to catch and save all rain water and planting a California native garden! It was a match made in heaven! We established a working/teaching relationship that was super easy, super informative and the end result is the garden of my dreams! Jon and his team did a wonderful job refreshing our tired, 24-year-old gardens. Jon took the time to analyze the growing conditions and limitations for each location and provide us with a large palette of beautiful eco friendly plants and trees that would be the most successful.
