I had a problem with a return to HomeTown Hardware in Waynesville, but the management staff for the McNeely’s (owner of HomeTown Hardware) reach out to me and quickly corrected the problem to my satisfaction. The Management of HomeTown Hardware truly treats their customers with respect and goes above and beyond to ensure customer satisfaction. This is how small town, local owned, businesses should operate. I will definitely be doing business with them over the big box stores in the future and highly recommend them to everyone. Thank you

I stopped here looking for some small nails and screws. As soon as I walked in the door, a gentleman asked if he could help me find something. It was so nice to be able to find my items quickly. It was a much different experience than shopping at a large store like Home Depot or Lowe’s. Awesome customer service!

A customer purchased a generator and was told it was electric start, which they needed because they are elderly. It turned out it did not have an electric start. They took the generator back with the box unopened and were told they can't get a refund/replacement, since they were only able to get it back within 24 hours rather than 30 minutes.

Great hardware store with everything you need. The staff is friendly and very knowledgeable. You feel really comfortable and welcomed from the minute you walk in the door. Hard to find good service like this these days. I definitely recommend stopping by to say hello! They have a great selection of Diablo blades as well. That's a win in my book! Will be shopping here again soon.
