Invisible Fence of the Bluegrass

Issues started right out the gate. Well after the scheduled time we get a call that our appointment needs to be rescheduled. On the new date, we informed them that we have an appointment at 5pm and have to leave at 4:30. Installer arrives just before 4. He was still installing when we left and only briefly told us how to train our dog, without any specific training conducted. We were told that if we needed more training or to adjust the collar (it was set to a very low setting) they would definitely stop by to assist. We've found that to not be the case. They insisted we bring the collar in to the shop, which is only open very inconvenient hours of 10-4. Took time away from work and got the collar adjusted. Our most recent issues take the cake. The folks at Invisible Fence of the Bluegrass have been top-of-the-line service oriented since day one for us. They came to our rural home in 2010 to install the underground invisible fencing for our German Shepherd, and spent time making sure we understood the operation of the fence, use of the collar on our dog, and training her. Any issues we've had over the years have been taken care of in a timely fashion, and these folks always are personable and friendly. We now have a Timber Wolf/Shepherd mix that is using the 1+ acre enclosed area. I have recommended them to our neighbors, who have also used them and are pleased. I initally posted a 2 star review because the company lifetime warranty on the collars when you buy the system. I had taken my collars in because they stopped working after several several years. They first did not want to stand behind their warranty but they finally did after some persistence on my part. The people there was very pleasant. So, I don't know if it was corporate thing but the did eventually come through on their agreement. The system is very affective with training dogs.

Had an appointment with them and had to call the company ourselves an hour after our appointment for them to tell us they were an hour and half behind, no issue I get that. Then an hour and a half goes by, still no one shows up, get a call from the guy, says it’s going to be another hour, then calls back 30 minutes later and says his probe broke and he would have to come back tomorrow morning. No call no shows the next day and does not answer our phone calls. We call the company and she says she would reach out to him and give us a call back and have him come out to us later that day, no one ever called us back or came out. And now when we try to call the company to get another appointment it goes straight to voicemail. Horrible company altogether, would recommend someone else entirely.

I have used Invisible Fence in three houses over the past 10 years and we have had great results. The best thing was, when we moved from Austin to Lexington all we had to do was bring the controller and the collar. The Lexington office only charged us for the wire and installation. And even better, they came and measured the yard, made estimates for what we would want before we left Texas. And the day we moved in, they were there at 9:00 a.m., installing the protection for our pet. Awesome job, Invisible Fence--both the Lexington and Austin offices. You were my first call.
