Our horror story: we contracted with another company and, after rip out, discovered the cabinets were the wrong color. After ordering the cabinets from a reliable cabinet shop, Dan took over cabinet installation and coordination of the trades. Complicating everything was weather in the midwest, delaying shipping, local weather (blizzard) delaying delivery, and vacation plans, which we delayed. Dan promised the cabinets would be installed in 2 days. He kept his word. Keith and Steve just completed the cabinet installation. Their work is professional, accurate, pristine, and they are personable and pleasant young men. They were considerate of our home, cleaning up at the end of the day. Dan and his crew remodeled my elderly mom’s bathroom (total gut and redesign) and we couldn’t be happier with the results. From start to finish, Dan and his crew were amazing: polite, professional, great communication, and so kind and respectful toward my mom. They went above and beyond to make sure she was comfortable during the process and left the premises clean at the end of each workday. I had many questions throughout the remodel, and Dan and his crew were always available, either answering my calls or texts immediately or within minutes. Island Homecraft’s Dan Bolger, and his expert crew, recently knocked down a wall and combined and remodeled our kitchen and dining room area. He was professional, thorough, very knowledgeable of what was to be done and showed us pictures of previous jobs of the same nature. I did a ton of research and had a bunch of contractors come by before I decided to use Island Homecraft (recommended by my roofer DiCostanzo construction who is also great) to do our kitchen/first floor renovation and could not be happier.
