On two occasions I had service technicians attempt to gain access to my fenced backyard, without prior permission or communication. The first one we were away from home, the second time I was able to ask them to ring the doorbell first. Upon calling the company (to explain the situation and ask for a note to be put on our account to ring the doorbell first or coordinate first before entering my property) I was abruptly cut off by the woman on the phone and she asked “So you don’t want us to service your home, alrighty then.” This was the company my home builder used to install the irrigation. The second time the technicians tried entering my property without my permission was for a service call next door. They had placed my neighbors sprinklers a foot inside our fence line prior to us buy

My experience with this company has not been positive overall. My builder used them for my irrigation system, so I stayed with them. Part of the irrigation system had to be dug up and fixed early on. I use them for an annual turn on, turn off, and the required back flow test. I most always have to call to get them to come out and do these things. They never call back. The lady that answers the phone is nice and helpful. I'm finding a different company now to do these services.

Do not use this company unless you have to. My builder uses them and after they installed my irrigation system they had it running for 16 hours a day and I ended up with a swamp of a backyard, flooded crawlspace, and a $600 water bill. I’ve also had nothing but problems with the water pressure since I moved in almost three years ago so parts of my lawn die every summer because the sprinklers don’t cover some areas of the yard. They are quick to blame the builder on this. They also don’t communicate with their customers when they’re winterizing your irrigation system. It is still 70-80 degrees and they winterized my system without a heads up the day after I power raked, overseeded and fertilized. As a single, full-time working homeowner I don’t have hours a day to hand water my giant yard

This company was used by the builder of my home. They planted a rotten tree in the front yard and I have been attempting to have it replaced for the past 5 months without resolution. They state they will call back with an update, but that is never done. The sprinkler system they installed is faulty and several heads do not work. They have lied and said they would come out to repair, but again, never do. They planted Bradford pear trees, knowing they are invasive. PLEASE, do not waste your money with this company.

Very unprofessional. They installed my sprinkler system through the builder so I have used them for the maintenance. I called them last week and left message for an estimate to get a sprinkler head fixed/replaced. Got called back the next day and was told they would have the irrigation people call me. I never received a call from them after this. This week I called back and left another message that if they didn’t want to call me back I would get somebody else. Never heard from them. Today I called and schedule another company to come and repair. I get home and have a repair invoice from James River for the repair. They never called to give estimate or to get approval to do work. Just showed up and did the job and left an invoice. Very poor business. I called and left another mess
