I expect my share of knots and rotten bug eaten wood. I have also come to expect a share of dirt, concrete, and blacktop chunks. A big warning to anyone with a gravel driveway to lay down a tarp or your driveway is done for. I expect all of that as being normal. What I was disappointed with was being shorted about a quarter of the cord ordered. Honestly one quarter is being conservative in estimate. I did get about 3x the kindling and scraps. I even use cash hoping for better service. I have used them for a few years now. I don't mind the shorted wood as I burn coal mostly and use only one cord per year. That said though I will be looking for another supplier option next year, God willing.

JE Home Improvement has been doing an amazing job in keeping my driveway snow free. They are quick to respond urgent situations. They have are very accessible and responsive. Their price is very competitive. I enjoy working with honest and reliable businesses like JE Home Improvement and Landscaping. I highly recommend them.

This guy was great! We have been taken advantage of in the past by local companies delivering us terrible wood. First time (of many more to come) ordering from JE Home Improvements and we were so impressed. He came super fast, delivered a generous cord of wood that was WAY better quality than anything we've received in the past. I would absolutely recommend this company for your firewood needs. We won't be going to anyone else going forward.
