Reading other horrible reviews, I only wish when I had my problem described herein, Google reviews were a thing. Unfortunately, it was not, as my plumbing issue was many years ago. I had a pin hole leak in the copper water line right below my whole house shut off valve. My house is on a community well of 8 houses total. I called Jeff's and 2 guys came out. They told me the well would have to be shut off in order to de-pressurize the water system before the repair could be performed. They shut off the well, and told me it would be at least a couple hours before the repair could be performed. Both left for a long lunch. When they returned, the repair was performed with just a quick solder. When I received the bill from Jeff's, it was for over $400. It included time for 2 workers (w

BEWARE!!! Do not call this company if you have a broiler. In fact, I would be hesitant to call them for anything! We had a leak down in the basement area where the broiler is kept and the hot water was not working. I reached out to a couple companies and found Jeff’s plumbing, who said they were familiar with broilers. The technician went out and turned off a couple things and told us that we needed a new broiler. This was going to be 20,000+ dollars. We called out another company that was familiar with broilers He went out and turned a couple knobs, and a few minutes later, we had no leaks and we had hot water. When I called him about this, their response was there’s no way the guy I called out would’ve charged the amount he charge because the new part is more than $200. Mind you this is

Caution. I've used several plumbing companies around Boone since I have multiple rental properties. I was charged $699 to clean a clogged drain. This is more than double what I'm typically charged. They actually did a good job but charged me for 2 hours of work (job took less than 1.5 hours). Also, it was odd that the charge did not show up on my credit card for 29 days. If you use this company, get a cost estimate up front (per hour), keep track of the time and get a full invoice before paying.

Jeff's plumbing uses deceptive pricing (by omission), an unfair, unjust and unethical business practice. On August 9th, two employees from Jeff's plumbing came to fix a slow drain. They spent a couple of hours and tried and number of things which they said did not fix the problem. I was expecting a bill for about $500, based on the labor rate and instead I received a surprise bill for totally nearly $1100. I was not asked whether I wanted to pay an extra $255 for the employees to run a camera down the pipe, or if I wanted them to remove and reinstall my toilet. I would never have approved these charges. It's unethical for a plumber to just come in and rack up exorbitant charges without consulting the owner and providing an estimate. I have previously trusted this business, but have read ma

I’ve used Jeff’s for over a decade on and off. I bought a new house this fall, and it needed a hose hookup, water to the fridge, the hot water wasn’t working in one shower, and the pressure was terrible (a new tank/pressure switch). I called, and emailed the list to them, but when the 20 something’s showed up, they had none of the parts needed to fix any of the issues. Two trips later they still didn’t have the parts needed. They also charged me by the hour for time driving back and forth (they only charged me for one of the times driving back and forth and acted like they were doing me a favor). They told me they fixed the shower without hot water. It’s not a shower I use often, but after about a week I noticed it wasn’t hot. After having a different plumber come out I was told the part
