We have worked with James on a house makeover that has taken the better part of a year. We chose James because of his reputation for quality work, and because frankly, James is a great guy. James went well beyond to make us happy. A refrigerator that we had ordered from Lowe’s showed up with a small ding in the door. While we were thinking we may be able to negotiate with Lowe’s to make a price adjustment, James was having no part of it. On his own, he loaded up the damaged refrigerator, returned it to Lowe’s, then drove to Home Depot (a distance away) and bought one that didn’t have a scratch on it. We had a roof leak earlier this year and reached out for an estimate on repairs. He came out as planned and took a look. It took a few days and phone calls for him to get back to us with an estimate. We agreed to the work and charge, he said a contract would be sent. We waited and nothing. Numerous calls, emails and texts went unanswered. He never showed up on the date he said he would. We turned down other roofers and haven’t been able to find someone now.

Within 2 hours of discovering a roof leak, they were here to check it out. Within 24 hours the repair was made. The guys were professional and courteous. So impressed, we asked for an estimate on garage renovations. We would recommend J & J anytime!

Great quality service and at a reasonable price! Needed work done in order to sell my house and James and his crew rails put up railson my steps, refinished my front porch steps, fixed holes in the ceiling, painted, installed fire alarms, and rewired my kitchen.
