JSL Home Repair LLC

I hired JSL to do metal roofing and siding on an outbuilding on my property. They were priced fairly, completed the work quickly, and the quality was great. They promptly addressed a few concerns I had and even fixed a couple things I hadn't caught. The building looks great and comes with a great warranty. It feels good to know that I don't need to get multiple estimates on future home projects since I will only utilize JSL. (Don't mind the mess in the photo - it's my own mess).

We are over the top happy with our bathroom remodel. JSL was professional from start to finish. Quick to give us an estimate and took their time to talk to us to make sure every detail was correct. The finished product is beautiful and we hope to hire them again for future remodeling.

I have never been more disappointed in the work of a company. We contacted JSL for a quote on repairing our leaking box gutter and consequently damaged soffit. They came in at around $2400, so we proceeded. Two workers were here for a total of about 28 hours to “finish” the job. There was no warning they were coming or going, they left debris and nails all over the yard, and most importantly they did shoddy work. The soffits still appear damaged (although not as badly… but give it time). The bill came for $4100! My husband contacted JSL for an explanation an itemized receipt and was refused. The explanation was that this was for the hours worked at $90/hour and the materials (mostly nails, plywood and a gallon of white paint that was obviously leftover from another job). Would not recommend. They started out great but went downhill as the project progressed. Long list of issues so I'll bullet point for ease of reading. • Installed cheap coated wallboards instead of actual shower surround that went with the pan they installed. Took months to get it corrected. Had to pay a different contractor to finish as JSL left it sitting un-mudded for weeks with no calls or emails about scheduling to finish. They only responded after I emailed them telling them I had to hire someone else. • Could not/would not provide a cost breakdown of the contract either before or after work completed. Due to time constraints and my living conditions, I had to get the work started ASAP so went ahead hoping I could get the breakdown at a later date. Never did. They did send me somethi

Jake and Nita with JSL Home Repair were wonderful and easy to work with. They were straight forward and honest about any issues they recognized while inspecting our roof. We called about a chimney related leak and they found a window that was about to collapse in due to age, which ended up saving us from a huge future problem. After giving us an estimate and options, Jake was out within days to do the initial prep work and protect our home from further damage while we waited for the replacement window. The new window was placed with care and consideration and all of the chimney flashing and work looks excellent and best of all - no more leaks!
