I initially contacted James at JW Masonry concerning a job to tuck-point the brick work on the front of my house. He could have taken the job and moved on, but after inspecting the job he advised us that it would be pointless to tuck-point without also sealing the bricks. We plan to paint the house in the spring, so we appreciate his honesty and professionalism and will call him back then. We did hire James to rebuild 2 brick pillars adjacent to our driveway which had been heavily damaged. He showed up as promised and did the jobs, including cleanup, quickly, with excellent results and at a reasonable price. We hired JW Masonry to do 2 large projects for us, we are building a mother in law house along with an 800 sq. ft addition. Our property has a steep downhill grade, I was surprised at how talented these guys are and the tricks they have to make concrete and block perfectly level. They did our footers, stem wall, concrete slab and cbs structure. They did exactly what they said they would do, they showed up early, stayed late and did an outstanding job, the inspector who came out was impressed too, he said that some of the work he saw here is usually only done on commercial jobs.
