Kintech Heating, Cooling & Plumbing

I found Kintech through an online search that showed they had 630 5-star reviews. I thought that must be somehow faked but I gave them a shot. We are so glad I did— they are worth five stars and more! My mom’s oil burner stopped working at 1 AM on a Saturday night, the day before Super Bowl Sunday, in the middle of a long period of sub 20° weather. It was 4° when she lost heat! 😱🥶 I had contacted 9 other companies that claimed to offer 24/7 service and no one answered their phones or ever called me back except Kintech. (Good riddance to those others, including a couple of the bigger repair companies on the Island.) Kintech serviceman John Z had Mom’s oil burner up and running in less than 10 hours from when I first called! John Z was polite, efficient, communicative, tidy, and skilled. And

I had a great experience with this company for my annual oil burner service. Their reception team was patient and knowledgeable, they went over their options with me in full so I could pick what was most important to me. The communication before the appointment was great, as a single woman living alone I appreciated a text with the name and a picture of my service provider. Pat did a fantastic job. He worked quickly, did not try to upsell me, was honest about my on going needs, and gave me great preventative recommendations. I have gone through several local companies and am very pleased with Kintech overall. I signed up for a maintenance plan due to their integrity and customer service that I have not otherwise found locally. Highly recommend them!

Our burner turned off during an extremely cold freeze. Our internal temperatures dropped to 51 degrees. We were very very appreciative to receive immediate near urgent support from Kintech. Kintech was recommended to us from ELED Construction, whom we respect and trust at the highest quality. Kintech responded immediately with expert advice and the highest quality experience and professionalism. They efficiently and effectively resolved the issue within 15 minutes. We then also enrolled in annual maintenance prevention to protect the operational condition & quality our heating system. We are educated scientists and instructors, and highly recommend Kintech to everyone, with A+++ ratings, above and beyond duty. Thank you Kintech!

*As an update to my review below, Kintech reviewed my invoice and issued a refund of $195.75. Thank you for your reliable technical support in the time of need and your considerate customer service. -----‐--------------- I was unfortunately very disappointed about paying $400 for blowdrying a frozen oil tank connection, no replacement of parts or fixing involved. Other than that, Vinny was great, he started the heat going and was very nice as always. I feel that Kintech is a solid, reliable company but their prices run a little high. Recently Vinny also replaced a valve to fix an oil leak and I paid $450. I felt it was high but he did get the job done and I was happy about that. Their service is great but prices could be better.

Mike was patient and kind in his explaining on what is being cleaned and changed. He also helped me to understand better the temperature adjustment for winter and summer months. So happy with Kintech and highly recommend; as they were recommended to me and DID NOT DISAPPOINT.
