Kornerstone Kitchens

Amazing kitchen and experience planning it from start to finish with Rick Frank and construction with Element Design Build. We worked through every detail and iterated on how to use the space effectively in an old 1929 house. Taking a wall down gave us so many new options. We love the space and have delicious home-cooked meals. It’s the perfect chef’s kitchen. Hosting in this space is even better with our geothermal AC (ACES). We installed a BlueStar 6-burner all gas range (fits two half sheets!), KitchenAid dishwasher; microwave, and oven for baking cookies, and a 36/18-in Thermador built-in fridge for all our fruits and veggies. Our experience with Kornerstone was a rollercoaster to say the least. Our in person meetings were great but communication out side of that was spotty. Emails wouldn’t be answered for days/weeks, the same questions would be need to be answered a few times due to multiple unorganized email threads, or questions just wouldn’t be answered at all. At install there were many issues. Multiple drawer faces were incorrect, there was a miscommunication with the hood design and took a while to fix (and honestly still isn’t “perfect”), some hinges did not work correctly on a drawer, were replaced and still don’t work properly, the wood stain was multiple different colors and took MONTHS to replace. To this day we still are not satisfied with some of our products, but are choosing to hire others to fix

Needed to get some cabinets on order asap. Rick at Kornerstone fit me into his schedule, my wife and i went in, picked out some cabinets and ordered them that day. Kornerstone was able to match the cabinets we were ordering from them, to a cabinet that we had already purchased. Price was reasonable, communication was great, selection was large, etc. Would return for any cabinet needs.

Great experience. Jude was our sales rep.. We did a full kitchen, bathroom and pantry remodel and Jude made selection process a breeze. Quality of cabinetry was great.
