Kutscher Earth Hauling

Called many places around the area to find the right sand for my son’s Eagle Scout project. Warren was most helpful and accommodating, and quite a character! I thoroughly enjoyed working with him. He had a sample waiting for me when I arrived and was very flexible regarding the delivery. Not only that, his prices were far better than any of the other places I called. When we were ready, he delivered same day — quickly and efficiently. We now have a beautiful new sand volleyball pit for the whole community to enjoy. Thanks Warren!

I called to get pricing on some gravel. The phone was answered with a "hello". I started by telling him, I needed some gravel, for a drive way. He stated, "what kind of drive way" I told him a gravel road, drive way. He then asked, " where do you need it" I told him in San Marcos. He then stated" it will be $225.00". I asked him if I could put the load of gravel on my truck. He then stated, "no we only deliver". I told him "ok, thank you", and he just hung up the conversation. He was not helpful, or nice. He didn't say the name of his company. Don't bother, to go and look at the dirt/gravel, it's all behind a locked fence, and you have to call., just like I did. Good luck

I have hired Kutcher Gravel twice. Yes, I hear the other reviews, Mr Kutcher is a bit gruff and of few words. That might throw you, but dont be put off by him. He is fair and honest. His guy Joe does amazing work and is very careful. I had a portion of my driveway done before Hurricane Harvey. The driveway has a steep incline but it didn't erode at all through the entire hurricane. I feel as though a got a great job at a good price. As for Mr. Kutcher, well, I am not looking to hire a new friend, I am looking for a solid gravel job with a company I can trust. Thank you.

I paid for 1 load of base and 2 loads of pea gravel, I got MAYBE 3/4 of a load of base and I'm lucky if I got 1 full load and 1/3 of another of the pea gravel, I called and complained and was a told that I got what I paid for and he was very rude. I will never use them again.

Warren didn't put me on the schedule. Didn't remember talking to me 2 days prior. As I explained to him about scheduling importance due to having to take a horse fence down, he hung up on me.
