As a small local contractor. The service and selections at my local lavalleys are hands down unbeatable. Having visited the Bristol and Meredith locations I say the same about them, lavalleys is an unbeatable supplier for any and all building and home improvement needs!

We specifically stopped in to see their train station upstairs, which is pretty detailed. The boys loved it and asked to go back. Certainly a place to experience whether you're young or old! I never knew it existed! Inside the main door, go left to the stairs or elevator. From there follow the signs, turn right and go down the hall. Easy to find.

I use lavalleys all the time. They have a knowledgeable employed base, that can usually point you in the right direction.

Drive through lumber yard with good quality material. Project specialists for helping pros and weekend warriors. Hardware and tool section is convenient. Deals on random windows and doors from canceled orders etc. Important community fixture to hedge the ever growing national box store domination. They seem to retain many of their employees for long careers. They are a chain, but are in the sweet spot of efficiency of scale and community focused.

Worked with Chuck on finding a new storm door. He was extremely helpful by reviewing options and brands available. He found the right choice for the right price. I would work with him again.
