LAZ Parking - Pacific City Garage

I’m sure it is more reasonable park here when it isn’t 4th of July but it is absolutely terrible on the 4th. $40 for parking is insane. Sure it’s for 24 hours but we were parked for maybe 3 hours to eat and watch fireworks. Overall it felt like a “safe” place to park, very well lit and I’m sure there’s cameras around even though I didn’t see a ton of them. But trying to leave was absolutely madness. I expected to have some traffic leaving HB on the 4th but I did not expect to be stuck in the garage for OVER an hour. It’s as if they had a plan to get everyone in but zero plan to get anyone out of the city. I’ve worked a TON of events as crowd control, security, and event production. Everything from corporate conferences, university graduations, professional sports, to 30k+ music fest

Don't park here! They're definitely a scam. We got our ticket validated at the restaurant and their machine didn't register the validation and the guy just rushed us to pay and leave. He told us supposedly you have to spend $200 to get validation for intial free 2 hour validation so they charged me $16. No where did they have a sign stating that anywhere. I'd rather spend my money elsewhere.

Got the parking validation with an hour left to spare from the three hours of free parking. When my boyfriend and I were trying to exit the parking structure, there was a long line of traffic. By the time it was our turn to finally exit, they charged us $4 because we only had 20 minutes to leave after we got our ticket validated. HOW is that our fault that they don’t have a more efficient system? They should at least be able to accommodate somehow due to traffic that they already know would occur. Good job on that method to rip off people.

RIP OFF!!!! If u go 1minute into next hour charged for WHOLE hour. We were in line waiting to get out for 20 minutes. Supposed to be 2hrs withValidation = $16 took off $6 and guys says that is correct. Park on street or Beach mUCH MUCH CHEAPER & FASTER to leave.... !!!! 🥶

Great place to park. Easy to find. Cost is average. Plenty of places to shop and eat. Not so much for younger families but the beach is so close by which offers loads of activities for all ages. Paying for parking isn't that great as payment before leaving is only.on 1 side of the complex. But paying on exit is easy enough. Stunning views as you come out the car park.
