After three weeks of excuses and messes I made the decision to cut all ties with Little Guy Construction. We hired them to pour a new sidewalk leading up to our new pool. He decided to use bags of concrete and a concrete mixer instead of bringing in a truck. It was an absolute mess. They would work for an hour or so a day if they showed up. The day that they poured the owner had a tantrum and crumpled up the whole thing and left it in a bigger mess than it should have been. This was the Thursday before Labor Day weekend. After we notified him that he was done and that we would be finding another concrete company he offered to get a concrete truck. This was too late. Labor Day weekend we were left with a horrible mess.

Don't hire these guys until you see their workmanship, it is abhorrent. I saw my friends Townhome after these guys completed their work. It looks like they were blindfolded stamping the concrete, and they refuse to correct the mistakes.

Can't say enough good things about Ken and Little Guy Construction. Not only is he the best concrete contractor in Elgin, but he is a down-to-earth guy who care about you and shows it in his customer service, but also in his work. He delivers an amazing finished product and provides prompt communication and great service throughout.
