We recently had our kitchen renovated by Lowe’s along with several contractors. I don’t know if we won the contractor lotto or what, but we were absolutely thrilled with everyone. So much so, I’m going to copy/paste this review onto each of the businesses involved and name names that I remember so everyone gets a raise – ha ha. I’ve never had contractors so responsive – I’d get responses from everyone after about 10 minutes of emailing. First, Kathleen from Lowe’s on Jackson Rd (Scio Twp – she recently moved to the Canton Lowe’s) designed our kitchen for 1/5 the price another kitchen place gave us. I am appalled with the service from this Lowe’s. My husband purchased a toro lawn mower, supposed to be delivered Saturday 8:00-8:00. We took the day off for it to never come. They called and said it was assembled wrong and would be delivered Monday. We said ok no problem but it needs to be after 2:30 because we already took Saturday off of work and your product was bad we’re not taking another day off. They said they’d make a note, if the delivery company reads it cool if not nothing they can do. What they CAN do is hire a proper delivery company that can accommodate customers that Lowe’s is letting down time after time. Ok fine, Monday no mower arrives. Rescheduled to Wednesday… same delivery song and dance nothing can be guaranteed. Which is quite clear at this point unfortunately. Wedn

Purchased a Frigidaire Refrigerator on Black Friday. I am on my 3rd Refrigerator. Lowe’s is horrible. They kept telling me to call Frigidaire. Frigidaire said it was Lowe’s. First refrigerator arrived multiple dents. Second one water coming out of water filter housing. Lowe’s said they were sending a repair person. A delivery guy showed up and said we need a new refrigerator. 3rd refrigerator showed up. Customer service says delivery team will provide compensation for 4 days of time off, so far nothing. Never again will I buy here

The sales team were absolutely wonderful. We had to get a new stove. The warranty company was also wonderful. We got our new oven, stove. Now I'm a retired chef and baker, so as I'm learning it.. I'm absolutely in love. Thank you to your sales team.

Warning: Do NOT buy power equipment at Lowe's unless you can try it out and, if defective, return it within 48 hours! This was my go-to big chain store for decades. They were first with Veteran Discounts. But now, if you do not get back to the store within 48 hours of purchasing power equipment (power washer, for me), that's it, contact the manufacturer, nothing we will do for you. Zero exceptions, zero discussion (they will listen, then repeat policy and show computer screen denying because after 48 hours). I love local purchases, local stores even if national chains, but the void of after-the-purchase customer service has removed a major reason (for me) to "shop local."
