Lynnwood Library Parking

Staff are always helpful and good with recommendations. Love the option to check out ebooks. The facility is clean, well maintained and monitored. The parking lot gives plenty of shaded parking spots as well entry to the urban trail behind the library. It’s a beautiful and quiet place to explore or appreciate nature getting your steps in 😉

So came in today, library is pretty slow, they have 2 study rooms that are available and nobody has them booked all day, so I ask if I can use one since they’re available and they say I have to make a booking online, (they only let you book it 2x a week, which I have already used) so I was told it wasn’t allowed to use the room, I even asked if I could use it until someone booked it I could leave (I’ve been allowed to do that many times before) but the redhead at the desk said it wasn’t allowed… So why have rooms if people arnt able to use them when they are available??? I have an important meeting that I will now have to have out in the library for everyone to listen too… The rooms should be available to anyone if they are not booked…. Just doesn’t seem right.

I haven’t been inside this library but the contactless pickup has been great and streamlined. The staff are always nice and helpful. If I place a hold at night, the book is usually ready by the morning. Plus the auto renewal feature is wonderful. Great variety of books available both physically and electronically. The cloud library app is pretty sweet with popular titles available immediately on your devices, check it out!

Very upset that I can't print. And there is supposed to be free internet. But the connection is terrible even right in front or side of the building. And I am a full-time student. I cannot afford for my internet connection to be a slow connection.
