We hired Marroquin Homes for a major addition and full renovation on our house in Ho-Ho-Kus, including a new deck and exterior work, and it was truly the best experience we could have asked for. Abraham and his crew were always on time, incredibly fair, and a pleasure to work with from start to finish. Communication was excellent throughout the entire process, and everything was handled professionally and transparently. My mom is an architect with over 40 years of experience, and she has said she has never seen a contractor operate as well as Abraham. His subcontractors clearly respect him — they were punctual, organized, and did outstanding work. We are new home-owners and you always hear nightmare stories about contractors, but we experienced the complete opposite.

Marroquin Homes does amazing work and takes pride in their craftsmanship. Abraham built a 1700 sq foot deck for me with two big giant planters, he rebuilt my front deck and replaces rotting log cabin -like beams on the front deck. He also built my mom’s deck in Old Tappan as well as vaulted her ceiling in her living room. There is no project too big that his team can’t do and works with you on custom solutions to make your house unique and special. We had some complex parts like Feeney Cable Railings that he figured out that had lighting under the top rail and a 2x6 Ipe top. Our house was completely remodeled by Marroquín homes LLC. Abraham was very knowledgeable and dedicated from day one. He spend full 3 weeks, 4 men crew and 2 trucks. Abraham and his Team did full demolition of my old 30 year old siding and everything else down to bare plywood. Then replaced plywood as needed, placed new Tyvek, installed new insulation and installed all new Hardie Planks siding from the foundation up to the roof. Also Abraham did all new windows and doors trim. My house looks modern and new now compared to the one I had before, thanks to Abraham and his Team. Abraham and his crew (Marroquin Homes LLC) were absolutely awesome! They are professional, meticulous, and very responsive. I met Abraham a few years ago as he was the framer for our home. I recently needed him to correct an issue created by a gutter company. He immediately responded, as promised he showed up and corrected the problem. These guys cared about their work and were attentive to the details. They were also very nice and respectful.
