Very professional and responsive! When other electricians wouldn’t even return my calls, they answered and had 2 people out by the next morning! Fixed my issue quickly and for a very reasonable fee. Will be using them again and would recommend to anyone!

Was told they would fit me in and they would call in the AM with an approximate time. So I took the day off work so I could be home no matter what time they could be here but never got a call so I had to finally call them and receptionist said it will be later in the after or possibly the next day (Saturday) and I said if they can do Saturday that would be great. Finally got a call at 3pm saying they weren’t coming today and wanted to do Monday….apparently Saturday wasn’t an option anymore. I told them I couldn’t take another day of work for them to maybe come, maybe not. I don’t know if it’s the receptionist or just the owners don’t care about jerking people around but if you value your time and customer service I would go with ANYONE else….

Easy to schedule & work with. Had a visit to determine plan & get a bid. Two guys showed up as scheduled and took care of the job in an efficient and clean manner. Perfect finishing touch to our kitchen remodel! They do great work! Very professional & polite! Highly recommend!

We could not be happier with the service that Mattoon Electric provided for us. So many times you have to leave a message at a business that may or may not get back to you. Not so with Mattoon Electric. They answer their phone, which in itself is very special -- PLUS they keep you apprised along the way! We had some new lights installed, a ceiling fan light kit installed with switch update (that required fan replacement to do wiring), a couple of kitchen cabinet lights removed, new switches and outlets in the kitchen. THANK YOU Brad and Brian for the great, conscientious, neat work you did! And THANK YOU Anna for being such a wonderful front for your company, you are a great communicator! Great prices and same within an hour of the call and had a part we needed in hand we couldn’t find anywhere else. So easy to talk on the phone and actually answered unlike most!!! Loved having them work on our electrical highly recommend
