This courteous Team is professional, knowledgeable with packing all artifacts, and wrapping furniture. Your items will arrive safe & sound. They also prepare & organize you well — walking you through the moving process e.g. how to label boxes and pack. The yea personal helped me with discarding unwanted items into a dumpster. We can’t say enough positive things about our experience using McAvey Movers. From start to finish we were treated with professionalism and dedication to service. They were the only company that sent a person to the house to discuss and assess our moving needs. The day before the move they came and wrapped all of the furniture and helped finish packing the fragile items. The move into a storage unit went smoothly (they fit everything we own into a 10x15 unit like Tetris experts! Moving out was a breeze (even in the rain) - they treated our home like their own. Not one item was damaged in any way! An added bonus - all of their employees were friendly, professional, and personable (just plain nice people). McAvey movers went above and beyond helping my family with our move. Merlin, Felix, and the rest of the moving crew were a very hardworking and professional group who were a significant help during a stressful process in very high temperatures. What a wonderful experience with our first move after being in a home for 28 years. (i.e., we had lots of stuff). Brian, McAvey’s owner, responded quickly to our request for a quote and came to the home to provide the estimate. Their price was very reasonable, and all the options were laid out for us. We were able to adjust items, and the team, including Toni in the office, accommodated every need we had. The final price came in right in line with the estimate. On moving day, his team (Sean, Hugo, Felix, and Fred) were quick and clean. Move out was a damp day and they took care to protect the floors and keep it all clean. They took such great care to wrap and protect all our furniture and moved all the boxes we had packed. They got our stuff to our new home on time and quickly move
