a few things I look for in any service company: 1. Competitive Pricing - McMichaels is fairly competitive. After calling around, I found EE Wine was cheaper by about $.50 a gallon for heating oil. 2. Good customer service: When I first became a customer, they were great. Yesterday, empty promises. 3. Prompt Service: I usually call these folks up when I know I'm about 1/4 to empty. I accidently let it go empty this past winter and called them up. The lady said they'd be there in the morning. Nothing. I called again and the lady said they'd be there in the afternoon. Nothing. So in an emergency where the temps dropped to 20 degrees we have no heat, this company let me down. So today, I called around and EE Wine was cheaper and available. Got stuck by one of the larger fuel oil companies in the area...Called them and they would not give me an emergency delivery after their person said they'd make sure I got it ! Tanya at Mcmichaels Heating Oil came thru with flyin' colors and got me a delivery the next day....Was NOT a previous custome, but I SURE AM NOW !!!! Thanks for keepin' the heat on in my house !!!!

This company is unorganized, rude and disrespectful. We had mentioned to call us before they came to fill it. We then contacted them to make a payment arrangement. We have two small children and they still want to drain our tank. They are very unprofessional, rude and do not care about their clients. I would not recommend them to anyone.
