I have been using Meadowbrook Materials to supply and deliver mulch for my small lawn care and landscaping business, and have been extremely happy with everything. They are very friendly to work with, and have been providing excellent service.

I called for an estimate on landscaping services. I was told by the girl who answered the phone “Hello?” and never gave her name that she would speak to her boss “tomorrow” and call me back to schedule. A little while later, she called back but still didn’t identify herself or her company. She said her boss could come out the next morning. I told her I wouldn’t be home but that I was available Monday through Thursday the next week. She said she would have to call me back. She called back, still not identifying herself or company, to say that her boss would be out at 9:45 AM on Monday, to which I agreed. He never showed up. When I called - over an hour later - to ask why, she told me there was “a scheduling mistake“ and that she was “just about to call“. No apologies and a lame excuse. Nee

Ordered one cord of seasoned firewood and received wood that was not very seasoned at all. Moisture content on each split I did was 35-41%, measured with a digital meter. Tested a few splits in the woodstove and there was nothing but sizzling. The amount I paid for this wood is too much for what I got. I also noticed quite a bit of rotting starting on a fair amount of the pieces. I also picked out about a wheelbarrow full of fully rotted pieces that were soaked that I had to throw out. This left a good sized mess in the driveway from rotting wood flaking off the wood. I have received wood from others and have never had issues like this including the ratio of rotting pieces. When we texted Chris all he gave were excuses about the wood having been in the rain a bit. I can understand this but
