Meijer

I have never had a bad experience at any Meijer. This one was no different. Fully stocked with a great selection. The young person at the self checkout out isle was super pleasant. It made my day 🧡

If I could give zero stars I would! I have had two incidents here at the Camby, IN location in recent weeks which has left me feeling extremely disappointed! On each occasion I dealt with two different older white women working the u-scan checkout area. They apparently have a hard time with processing orders or just flat out lazy or racist either way the first one had the worse attitude while I attempted to have her assist me. She walked off in the mist of me standing there to go and help others who looked like her with the most friendly demeanor and returned back to my checkout station with the same nasty attitude. her name was Nicole! The second incident today and forgive me I can’t remember her name but she was rude and another Meijer employee who witnessed the whole thing told me to ex

Holy moly. I was in awe at the sheer audacity of these employees. I’m from a town over, so this was just a one time thing for me, but wow, I had to stop in my car and write a review for just the small chance I might be able to warn a good person and prevent them from coming here. I had bad interactions with three different employees in the span of 20 minutes. The worst part was the worst and rudest one was a female manager helping run the customer service desk. If you know what you want and it’s there, fine, but god have mercy on your soul should you need some assistance.

Meijer is more crowded than Walmart on busy days (evenings, weekends). Meijer (Camby) is a good store and the majority of employees very kind and friendly. But the store could use a more attractive produce section. Some parts of the store are a bit outdated. The newer Meijer stores are more upscale. Store upgrades aside, the prices are getting ridiculous! But that’s everywhere, sadly. Due to the higher prices at Meijer, I’m now going back to Walmart for some items. Although, during the slower hours of the day.

Camby Meijer has good staff & an amazingly youthful-looking & pretty 89 y.o. cashier. The woman who packed my groceries up was careful to pack glass jars of fruit in such a way that they would not break. I was impressed with their concern for their customer!
