I was shopping around for a provider to service my septic. He asked if I was having problems, and I told him we were. He couldn't service my septic until next week, but he(Mel) came out personally and looked at the problem, and provided a solution that will buy us some time until he comes next week. This is quality service. Mel's name is on the mailbox, and he makes sure that his name stands behind the quality of the job that is done. I couldn't recommend Mel's Pumping services any more.

I contacted Mel Cameron of Mel’s Pumping Service for assistance to determine the location of my septic drain field in advance of some work I am planning on my property. The map on my septic permit is hand drawn and 40 years old. I explained the situation and what I was looking to do, we discussed options, and he said he could come out to do an assessment and that he would charge $50 “to cover his gas”. We made the appointment for 10:00am, I provided him with my address, driving directions, and phone number. At 10:15am on the day of the appointment, no one had shown up, so I called to see if it was still on. Mel had no record of the appointment and barely remembered our discussion.
