Michael Poor Certified Arborist

We had a tree removed from our backyard this fall. Michael was wonderful to work with! I actually connected with him while out on a walk. We had tried to get a quote from a different company regarding removal of this tree and they basically told us it wasn't super doable. So then I'm out on a walk and run into Michael working in my neighborhood. I ask him about it- he's super friendly!- and he stops by later that afternoon to give a quote. It was very reasonable and he even explained this tree should definitely be removed because it's a hazard to our home. I had a large white pine tree in my backyard between my house and the backyard neighbor. It was very close to the neighbors home and the power wires that went between our homes. It was also starting to overhang my roof, and because of the trimming it had had in the past from the power company, the tree was starting to lean towards my home. I called several tree removal businesses, and shows Michael Poor to do the job. I liked that he was a certified arborist, he’s very knowledgeable about removing trees, and I felt his price was reasonable for what he had to do. The Michael Poor crew did a fine job of removing a large silver maple tree between our house and our neighbor’s house. We were pleased with their ability to clear the limbs and logs efficiently, in a tight space. Our yard was cleaned up neatly with little evidence that such a large tree had been removed. Great crew of professional workers. These guys know how to use their equipment. We had an all day project working on six trees, and everything was finished to order. They are extremely courteous and easy to communicate with. They came exactly on time and did all of the work cleanly and safely..

What a difference! I was extremely pleased with their work. They left the yard clean today and were very friendly and professional. The price was good and I’m relieved I don’t have to worry every time it’s windy. My old trees were leaning, cracked, and branches were constantly falling. They were in the way of the driveway too.
