I am fundamentally a DIY home maintenance guy, but you have to know when a job is beyond your skill set. Recently, I needed to replace the whole-house water filter that protects our tankless hot water heater. The filter cartridge housing had seized to the head and no amount of leaning on the filter wrench would allow me to open it for my annual DIY filter replacement. I made an appointment with Mike Counsil Plumbing, Bobby Mata and Nestor Godoy came out to do the inspection and estimate. I asked Bobby if the install could be done with unions on both sides of the new filter to make my DIY service jobs easier. These guy know their profession.
