Mkf Construction

This person was hired for a flooring installation and it has been a 2 year nightmare. I had a professional flooring person come take a look and they said it was installed poorly not cut to size correctly and the materials (which were recommended by this contractor were not under any warranty) This person has poor communication poorly work ethic, poor craftsmanship I recommend highly staying away from this individual unless you want to throw your money away.

This has been a 2 year nightmare from the moment the project was finished. Within 4 months of flooring be installed issues started showing up we had students getting cuts and injuries because the installation wasnt cut to size properly and locked into place correctly. Materials that were his personal recommendation where not the right Materials for the amount of traffic the area was going to receive. I finally after 6 different reinstall situations which was demanded to be paid cash for his time to reinstall the boards that were cracking and moving which wouldn't be happening if the edging was cut to size properly and evenly and spacers installed. I was not aware that this individual has no professional skills or even business experience. His communication is awful These pictures don't do

did the floors at the studio i do fitness at; constantly falling apart and needing repairs-blamed the flooring; but it was ones he recommended the studio purchase. at the very least be accountable for your recommendations and work.

Oh boy, where do I begin? Hiring MKF Construction was the worst decision I’ve made since that time I tried to give myself a haircut using kitchen scissors and a YouTube tutorial. They showed up 4 hours late on the first day — which I later learned was actually early by MKF standards. Their idea of “project planning” was three guys arguing over who forgot the tape measure, while one of them used a level as a sandwich plate. Inspirational. Within the first week, they managed to demolish the wrong wall, tile my bathroom ceiling, and install my toilet directly facing the kitchen. Yes, that’s right. Unfortunately we had a bad experience with MKF. We hired MKF to do an addition. MKF had poor communication and was dishonest. There seemed to be problems every step of the way over 1 and a half years! The subcontractor actually ended up finishing the job for us when we parted ways with MKF. MKF still owes thousands to the subcontractor for work completed that he has not paid. MKF assured us that everybody was paid in full and there was still money left which was not the case. Luckily the subcontractor was nice and chose not to put a lien on our house since he legally could have. After dealing with other contractors, it is a night and day difference between real professionals and this company.
