Molly Maid of Greater Frederick and Columbia

I hate to have to do this because when we recieved service from Molly Maid about a month ago the service was great and this made me and my wife want to receive bi-weekly service from them. Ever since we have agreed to that, it has been downhill until things reached a tipping point today in which I was fed up with the excuses and poor customer service. Today, February 06, 2026 we were due to recieve a cleaning of our residence at 2:01pm. We knew all week that they were coming on Today but we did not recieve a confirmation email of the time until 7:40am today which left us little room to plan the rest of our day. Molly Maid booking is done through AI and they do not verify anything, leading to false booking confirmations and terrible customer service. Despite receiving multiple confirmations before and during the appointment window and being told by the appointment portal that cleaners were on the way to provide their service, the company stood us up leaving us in a pinch while moving out. The company didn’t even bother to call and clarify the situation, they just sent an email at the end of the appointment window. Terrible service model and customer service.

No one confirmed my requested appointment or returned my phone calls, and they have a terrible AI system that (poorly) processes requests and will continue spamming you long after your alleged appointment date. Don't even bother requesting a quote unless you want continuous texts about how they "loved helping your home sparkle and shine" even though no service was ever provided.

There are 3 houses on our property and we were excited to find Molly Maids to come and clean for us. We got a very reasonable quote and were treated politely, however none of the 3 houses were clean after the first visit. The only reason I would consider giving a second star is because the manager was nice and gave us a good price and the maids left a personalized note on the kitchen table. I left a note of a specific cleaner to use on my hardwood floors, but they still had dirt and drip marks on them. it was evident they didn't mop at all, nonetheless use the cleaner I asked them too. I gave this service many months but overall had an horrible experience. They were inconsistent with scheduling, way the house was cleaned, and the cleaners they sent. They damaged the paint on my staircase and it took them weeks to fix it! Their manager, Kenneth, almost always had some sort of excuse when complaints were brought up. Definitely do not recommend going with them!
