Stay away from Marty and this company. If you want the job done right with accountability, transparency and communication, go with different company. Our job was simple: move out our furniture into our home garage, basement and bathrooms for us to do the flooring of our home. Marty jumped on the assessment, came quickly and estimated the cost of 3 hrs. After that, he was out of reach. I left him multiple messages about the contract for example to clarify some things and he never called me back. His appointment manager did everything possible to reach him and then she would give me a call back with information. It was just a weird red flag about this company. I can not rave enough about Montvale Movers! It was myself with 8 of their amazing men, which included Marty, Zack & his brother Mike, that felt like part of my own family by the time this move was completed! It was a very emotional emergency move for me, so I needed them to pack EVERYTHING I owned, and then move it all to storage units. A month later, they moved my belongings from storage to my new home. They had packed and moved my China, Waterford Crystal and a very old Grandfather Clock amongst other antique furniture! NOT ONE item or piece of furniture was broken or even scratched! I wish there were more stars I could give! We have had to do considerable downsizing from a 3 story townhome to a one floor condo. Today we did phase two to storage with Harry and his team and they were amazing as was the team I had in late May. I have to be honest I haven't dealt with Marty but his team members are WONDERFUL. Respectful, caring and take pride in their work. This is a hard transition after so many years and they have made it so much easier! They will be handling our final phase after the holidays. Great movers. Was in a bind when another moving company dropped me 2 weeks before the move. Marty graciously matched the other mover's quote. All the guys that helped with the move were extremely friendly and careful with everything they moved. One tiny thing was broken (it happens), but with no argument, they refunded the cost of the item.

We just moved into our new house recently, and I couldn’t be more pleased with the service we received from Marty and his team at Montvale Moving Services. From start to finish, the entire process was incredibly easy. Marty and his team were not only helpful and respectful of our property, but they also worked quickly and efficiently to get everything done. They made what could have been a stressful day completely hassle-free, handling all our belongings with care and even disassembling and reassembling furniture perfectly. Everything was placed exactly where we wanted it without any issues or delays. On top of that, their pricing was very fair, which made the whole experience even better. I don’t plan on moving anytime soon, but if I did, I’d use Montvale Moving Services again in a heart
