Mr. Handyman of North Lake Washington and Bellevue has been a great resource for me. Since moving to Bellevue over three years ago, I've used them, and technician David, exclusively for home repairs. David's knowledge of anything related to home repair is impressive. Any work he does will be high quality. If David assembles something, he will ensure you understand how to disassemble it. When there are multiple options for repair, he will advise so you can make an informed choice. Recently, David assembled a crib. Noting the wood was a bit dry, he commented furniture products can contain toxins. I'd never polished baby things and wasn't aware. Worked pretty slowly the first day, 5 hours for minimal outcomes. Couldn’t finish the job the first day, came back a week later and left due to a lack of available parking without notifying me. Called 2 hours after the arrival window ended and they claimed they contacted me via text and calls but never did because they somehow got the wrong phone number between the multiple prior calls and day of service. Rescheduled again another week later. Canceled again due to lack of parking. If you’re going to work in Seattle, or any urban area, use vehicles that can actually fit in the area’s standard parking. Canceling over parking multiple times is extremely unprofessional.

Ashley was great to work with coordinating the appointment, and the tech was on time for an early appointment despite traffic issues. He completed all tasks with care yet also completed in a timely manner. I enjoyed meeting him and definitely recommend this company!

Brent took great effort to fix the weirdest drawer in existence, being clear on describing the needs and changes to make as the work went on. Respectful of the home and us as work was happening. Although what was estimated to be a one hour fix was actually many, carpentry is no joke and I'm so happy the work was out of my hands and in a professionals.

I have to say, this worked out real well. We had a failing wood step on an outdoor staircase that we could see needed to be replaced before winter arrives. We made an inquiry through Angie, heard the same day via text from Mike, and spoke with Mike a few days later. He had Chris at our house the next morning. It turns out we had two rotted steps and we added a repair to the railing. Chris pulled the steps, thoroughly inspected everything for other issues, went over everything with us, left and returned with wood and materials, installed the two steps and repaired to the railing, and painted with the matching paint we had on hand. The works looks good; the price feels fair, and we’ll use them again.
