NCCI Homes

I wouldn’t advise my worst enemy to purchase a NCCI home. They lack the accountability to correct everything wrong with the homes that they build myself and my family has reached out to them on multiple occasions so that they can correct the issues in my home. but instead they have placed the blame on any company that hire under contract to work for them. For example, if you have plumbing issues they placed the blame on C&M out of Mount Olive, North Carolina if you’re having an AC problem they will not take accountability they will just place blame on Down East Heating and AC. structural wise they are the worst company to ever buy a house from. I will be filing a complaint and hopefully no VA loans would ever be able to be approved if NCCI homes, Nolan home, Sydes Homes is involved. Read r

12/6/23 We write this letter today with much frustration. The journey of purchasing your new home should be a good stress that turns into a sigh of relief at the end, with much expectation of joyous memories to be made. However, for us who served our country with dignity, integrity, respect and honor this memory has turned into nothing short of a nightmare. For several weeks we have lost the use of our property and are still feeling the effects as we continue to clean our dishes, food items and personal items that were affected by concrete debris which was everywhere, even in our cabinets and on our furniture. My parents bought a home in 2022 from them and we have had nothing but issues with the home. When we first moved in, we had no heat, come to find out it had been hooked up backwards and cold air was being pumped into the house. Next, the landscaping is atrocious. Every time it rains, our lawn floods and looks like a swamp in the front. We complained about the lawn and were told it was going to be fixed three different times, it is the same today as it was when we moved in. Not to mention half of the back yard grass did not grow in, and the other half is full of sink holes that could roll your ankle. Most recently, our AC stopped working on a Saturday afternoon. Beware, this is a TERRIBLE company to work with! We signed contracts back in March based on the premise that they would be finished in July. Even after challenging their representative from Freedom Real Estate, we were guaranteed they’d be done because they’d learned a lot since last year and they order everything in bulk. We have had little to no communication from them since the beginning. We have found major mistakes that are going to cause more delays. These mistakes should’ve been fixed months ago. Here we are in the month of September, in a new state with no family or friends in the area, 2 kids (one of which is a newborn), no home, and they can’t so much as communicate with us. We will NEVER work with NCCI or Freedom Real Estate again. Nor would I recommend either of them to anyone!

*BUYER BEWARE* we bought a new construction back in 2022. We have had nothing but issues with this company. Having them come out to fix their subpar work was like pulling teeth and ended with nothing being fixed right. My front door is still tilted and bowed which they told me is just cosmetic yet you can feel a breeze coming. They are so unprofessional and a nightmare to work with. If I could give zero stars I would!!!
