I called and explained my situation to the person who answered the phone (Jason). He was super friendly and nice. He offered to come out, give his advise and get me a quote for what he thought could fix the problem. They were busy, but said he could come out in a week and start the process. I said the wait was fine, and I would see him on Tuesday. He never showed up, he never called to say they were behind, he never called to apologize. I called and left a voicemail asking if they were behind or still coming and received no reply. I sat around all day waiting for them to come because he did not give me an exact time. I called Nichols Mechanical because I had a hot water boiler that was not working properly. He was very up front in telling me that he would try to get to me ASAP, but that he had several break downs that he was already working on. He made time to come early on a Saturday morning and quickly diagnosed the problem. He had 1 of the components he needed but said the other part needed ordered from the manufacturer, and that this particular manufacturer is typically kinda slow in getting parts out. As soon as the part arrived, he made us a priority and installed it the same day. Reading these reviews, I believe some people hear what they want to hear. Jason was very honest and very knowledgeable. I highly recommend that you call if if you have an issue, but also suggest to really listen

We are new to the area and needed help with our first ever heat pump. I chose Jason Nichols because of these reviews. I was NOT disappointed. I found Jason to be knowledgable and talented. Our heater broke and Jason came out that afternoon. He explained to my husband the problem and set us up using our heat pump until our furnace part came in. He came over as soon as the part came in. I also found the cost reasonable.

24 hr service is questionable? No show , no call at a scheduled furnace cleaning appt 12/7. Did not return my message. 3 weeks later my furnace quit working and he was unavailable to service. Furnace is <3 years old and this business installed. No service after the sale.
