On the Level Contracting

Used this company through Home Depot to measure our doors. Unfortunately they do not offer any assurance of standing by their measurements unless you also use them to install. Measured our front door wrong which made it a custom order door at $250. more than the standard door. When our installer went to install, we found out that the door should have been the standard 36x80 instead. The custom door was smaller and would have made getting furniture through it harder. Not only did they cause us to order a door we didn’t need, we also then had to go purchase a stock door that would work. We had an outstanding experience with Peter at On The Level Contracting. We purchased a new front door (double door) and matching shutters for the house and had them installed by Peter and his team. I could not have asked for a better experience. The quoting, ordering, installation, and payment process exceeded my expectations. In addition, we had timely communication with Peter and were consistently updated as to the progress of the order and the scheduled installation. It's rare that I've had such a smooth process with a contractor and this may be one of the best experiences. For the price and service that we received, I would absolutely use Peter and his team again. Everything, and I mean everything, was performed on time and as promised.

This company is used by my local Home Depot to install storm doors and other things as well. James, the installer arrived on time and was very knowledgeable. Not only did he do a great job installing the storm door, he corrected all the shortcuts that were taken by the installer of the original storm door. He fixed the drag in my entry door as well. I can't remember either door ever operating as smooth as they do now. Great job James! I enjoyed talking to you and I appreciate your expertise.

Asan and his "On the level" team installed two entryway doors for us. One door came out good (albeit has dented threshold), but due to the workmanship and improper installation interfacing with the house structure, other technicians have been required to come back out and inspect the second door over multiple occasions. Working with Home Depot presently to resolve and correct the low quality installation workmanship from OTLevel. Do not recommend if you are seeking high quality.

If I could give zero stars, I would. Company reached out to me on a Wednesday for a Friday install. Time was originally 12p-3p and then 9a-11a. I called at 11am to check on the whereabouts of the contractor only to be told ‘there was a glitch in the system and he’s out of town’. I was not notified until I reached out. Made arrangements to have someone home during install and ‘no call, no show’. A call was finally returned only to tell me there was no solution. Still don’t have a new install date and still haven’t received another call back with a solution.
