They buried fiber optic cable the length of my yard, which is close to 100 feet. They left a ridge the entire length, with most of the rocks and stones on top. The ridge is several inches higher than the surrounding soil/yard. There are also several large expose tree roots now, with one sticking a full foot out of the ground. Mowing it is a problem now and I'll have to fix it over the next year or so. I'm not sure they understand that grass does not grow through rocks, inasmuch as they planted a little grass and never covered it with soil or straw. I am a community manager. One of my communities is having Verizon installed. While digging these guys hit a water pipe, first causing 37 units to loose water and eventually the entire complex, 212 units, lost water in order to fix the pipe. This happened because the person who was supposed to have the water pipes identified with blue paint didn’t do her job. The guys digging didn’t see any blue paint...The person “in charge” Bob got a plumber there at 8:30 pm. At 3:30 am the plumber was still making repairs on a pipe he broke. And Bob, he was sound asleep! And this is who Verizon chooses to hire.

Do not hire this company. This company was hired by Verizon to rip up peoples lawns and install cable and internet. They hire people that do not speak English nor care for your possessions. They use equipment that can crack your driveway and break the ground so rocks will fly out of the ground and hit your car ruining it. Once you file a claim with them and their insurance, they will lie about the equipment they use. If you want unhappy and unsatisfied customers, then please do not hire this terrible company.

Disrupted neighborhood for months with little regard for residents. Called Verizon to file complaint and stated would send representative out, who never showed or returned call. Workers have little regard and unnecessarily block street and sidewalks. As bad a Comcast is, this contractor has turned me away from even considering Fios.

The workers who came to my home were rude and disrespectful. The wanted to put in a cable line without any marking for my sewer pipe. I had to ask them to leave. I called their supervisor which was no help. Be careful when these workers come to your home. They acted very unprofessional and could not answer any safety questions about digging on my property. The so called supervisor came and lied about calling 811. There still is no marking for sewer line. Parkside showed up this morning as I was leaving. I told the guy the sewer line is not marked and he said it’s not my problem. You have to talk to the supervisor. The workers are extremely rude and ignorant on your property. I asked them not to dig until the sewer line is marked. Not to much to ask for. I have rights as a home owner.
