We recently worked with Rosewood on a kitchen extension for our home in historic downtown Leesburg, and we couldn’t be happier! They completely transformed the space — adding a beautiful new coffee and wine bar with a stunning backsplash and redoing our fireplace, which now truly pops as a centerpiece. Communication was excellent, and their attention to detail was outstanding — as someone who’s very particular, I really appreciated the care they took with even the smallest seams and finishes. Rosewood was a pleasure to work with, and we can’t wait to get started on our primary bathroom renovation with them. Highly recommend!

I cannot say enough positive things about our experience with Rosewood. They are honest, professional and true craftsmen. We have used them to add a portico to our house as well as redoing (down to the studs) our master bath. They have a team of professionals who come in and get the job done on time and maintain the highest quality work. They have a designer on staff to help with final details but Luis is an incredibly talented craftsman. He made our portico trim from hand and even built custom cabinetry when it would be too expensive to order. We love working with Rosewood and look forward to our next project together.

It was a pleasure working with Rosewood Building & Design in 2025. They handled the demolition of an old deck and storage area, and constructed a beautiful new deck for me. Mary was in communication with me on a regular basis, and Luis is a meticulous and detailed-oriented craftsman. The crew arrived in a timely way and worked daily until the job was completed, and were hardworking and trustworthy. They also replaced a retaining wall, fixed siding and trim, and other tasks. Dealing with big construction projects can be stressful, but Luis and Mary made the process as easy as possible. I’ve had many people comment on how well-built and attractive the new deck is. I appreciated the entire Rosewood team’s patience, care and flexibility, and can recommend them wholeheartedly.

If I could give Rossewoods six stars, I would. They are absolutely one of the best contractors I have ever worked with. Their professionalism goes beyond just the product - the level of communication, the amount of cooperation, the way they do everything is better than anyone else. This is a contractor who lets you know what day they will be starting, starts on that day, then continues to inform you throughout the process what days they will/won't be onsite, what days the inspectors are coming, what days they'll be making more noise than normal. We couldn’t be happier with our new porch addition and the work done by Rosewood Building and Design. From the initial consultation to the final walkthrough with Ben, everything was handled professionally and with attention to detail. Luis and the team clearly took pride in their craftsmanship, focusing on the details, like coordinating access our hose bib, that prevented the need for any rework.
