Our well pump went dead on a cold Sunday and we lost all water. I had to depart Monday very early for a business trip and was worried about leaving my family of 5 with no water. Royal’s emergency service called me back within 15 minutes on a Sunday and had a team at our house within 1 hour. The pump was replaced and the guys worked in the freezing cold and dark and got it done. AMAZING experience and made me proud to do work with this local Powhatan company who takes care of their community. My home has a well dug by them and it seems to have issues, it reaked of chlorine for months, while also pulling up so much sediment it clogs our appliances after only a day. After emailing them asking if they had any ideas or did any sort of inspection I was ignored, we’ve called before also and haven’t gotten answers. I’d recommend another company that may care enough to answer questions about their work.

Last night, we lost water to our home during a bad storm. I went to do dishes, turned on the faucet, and no water came out. Not a drop. We checked the usual culprits, but couldn't figure out the issue. I called this morning, and the gentleman was so polite and helpful! They were able to get out to help us just a couple of hours later, much sooner than I had expected! They were quickly able to diagnose the issue, clearly explained what was wrong and what needed to be done, and they were able to get a new tank in my well very quickly! They also explained that should we have any issues with the tank in the near future, to give them a call and they would take care of it. Layne came to my house to change some filters, but smelled propane while he was at my house. Turned out that I had a propane leak. Layne not only did a great job, but he saved our family and house. Bless him!
