Ruppert Landscape

We would like to thank Scott's Landscaping for their sponsorship in providing the underlayment and technical expertise for our project which involved building an 800 foot nature trail at the Galen and Nancy Dreibelbis Birding Area. Last night at around 9PM we completed the project.

The work crew did an outstanding job removing and replanting shrubs around our house. They were hard working, personable, and professional. We are very pleased!  Our new shrubs look great!

Did not properly install my lawn. They did not “clean” the top soil. Was left with large rocks (10 pounds or more) and large limbs throughout the soil. Grass would not grow. Tried to blame me for my issues. Even Weeds would not grow on the areas with the worst soil. They would tell you that they could not do something because it will damage the lawn, but do it on other lawns in the area. they did come back to fill in the holes that were created by removing the large rocks, but use the same poor soil to fill the gaps. I am still under contract, but decided to move on to other companies that actually know what they are doing. I usually never write bad reviews about local business, I feel small businesses need all the help they can get, but after the experience our small business had with Scott's Landscaping and the owner we are seeking a new landscaper going forward. Just a little back story, I run a small town home community in town and each year we put the mowing out to bid, and it just so happened that Scott's was the lowest bid, and looking around town Scott's does nice work, I am not going to take that from them, they do good work and at a reasonable price; so we accepted their contract. Things were going good, so when we needed a landscaper to finish a yard on a spec home my company built, it wasn't even a question that I was going to have Scott's bid that job too. Thanks to your plow truck driver for backing into every driveway in our neighborhood to drop salt at 10:15p when my baby is trying to sleep. You did the sidewalks by hand at 7p. Couldn't do driveways that way too? Inconsiderate. Hopefully this time you don't knock over my decorations and screw up my mulch again.
