Almost a year building a bridge thats 50-60 ft. Literally come through there and they have 2-4 guys working on bridge. Timely? Not so much! Crazy how KCI has aw whole bridge with two lanes done in a months time On 55 but takes a year for this? Just can’t be making any money at paying labor and travel this long alone. Theres bets going on for how long this will last and if the round a bout in desloge will beat the bridge getting finished.

Work on Hwy 8 bridge supposed to be completed by fall 2025, the taxpayers will be lucky if it gets done by 2027. Now OSHA has shut down all the bridge work until further notice with no estimate given for work to resume due to a worker falling while trying to complete a job on unsafe conditions. If it’s not safe for employees to work there how do we feel it safe enough for us taxpayers? Very disappointing!
