Sandoval Parking Garage

This place felt pretty clean and safe to me plus I worked all day for $12 and was right in the heart of downtown.

Parking can be challenging in the city. Most are street parking with limited hours. This parking garage was great and came in handy! It was very close to the bustling plaza so just a short ealk yo all the shoos and attractions. It offers reasonable rate to park there. While not the biggest garage, it is 3 floors and the parking spaces are fairly large. It was definitely one of the cheaper rates I've seen when walking around.

They have sign that says garage closes 1am-7am but when I returned to try to get my car at 1159pm Friday July 14th the whole place was closed and had to delay my drive to Austin. Had to take uber to family members house and return next day to get car out. They charged me for 2 days and when I called the phone number I was told no one could help me on the weekend. This delay cost me over $1000! I ended up hitting the flash flooding near Caballo New Mexico and had to pay $750 for tow to El Paso and $250 insurance deductible. If this garage did not lock up before 1am which is on one of the signs in stairwell exit I would have left earlier on my trip and missed the flash flooding and damage to my car. I am very frustrated and disappointed in this garage!

There are places open til 3AM and it closes at 11PM?! You can't access your car after 11 at all. Santa Fe is ran by a bunch of clowns.

At the end of the day it’s just a normal parking garage- it’s in a good location and rates were reasonable. I parked for about 4ish hours and it was only $5. Exit door from the stairwell on the second floor was missing its door knob so I had to go back up the stairs and use the elevator.
