I hired Santa Fe style builders to renovate my patio. They did not obtain a permit per our agreement and installed the pavers incorrectly and not per code. On one occasion I notified the registered agent, Michael Roybal, that their subcontractor, substituted the approved brick for an inferior one. Michaels response was “[s]ounds like Henry.” I took the email to mean he hired someone who he knew was not trustworthy. On a separate occasion, I brought another issue with Henry, his subcontractor, to his attention. This time he responded “I do’nt [know] why he does these things.
