Scallywagon Adventure Vans

Bryan Jacobson and his crew, Dan, Luke and Justin built out my 144 Mercedes Sprinter 2022 4x4 completing in June. My experiences with Scallywagon were excellent. They offered me many suggestions that I have incorporated into my van and they also listened to my needs and wants. Bryan helped me from the ordering process at the Mercedes dealer including needed and unneeded equipment such as seats and windows. He walked me through his van experiences which helped me see my vision take shape. The craftsmanship and carpentry skills are excellent and his understanding and knowledge of the electrical and other systems are excellent as well. Best choice I made after buying my van was to have Bryan and his team build out the interior. Custom finishes you will not see in another build (like the custom wood transition at the cockpit and the bent wood channel at the back of the van with access to the lights). Bryan and his team are true craftsman. Excellent service and they walk you through each step of their work. We could not be happier with our van.

We brought in our van to have our diesel heater looked at because it was leaking and Alex could not have been more helpful! He quickly assessed the situation and found the cause of the leak. He was extremely professional and efficient with replacing our tubing. He had the exact piece of equipment we needed, and he was committed to helping us fix our problem with a quick turnaround. It is also very clear how knowledgeable and passionate Alex is about DIY van builds! He even went above and beyond, helping us with our drawer sliding mechanisms after the heater incident. Bryan and his team are true craftsman. They built a 100% custom off-grid 144 Sprinter 4x4 rig that we live in 80% of the year. It is incredibly comfortable, we have been through freezing winters and 100+f southern heat. Bryan was patient with us as we were building the van fully remote while living abroad. We got through some tough supply chain issues and ended up with a van that people will not stop complimenting us on at every gas station, mountain base, camp site etc. etc. 10000% recommend working with Bryan.
