October 2022: Noticed a stream of oil coming out of my oil tank one evening. Tech arrived within an hour but could do nothing more than lay some cotton pads. Their pump truck was not working, tech left my house referring to another company at 11pm. Charged $300 dollars for some cotton pads and a plastic catch basin with oil still coming out. The materials provided can be found online for less than $50. I am very fortunate the pump truck was not online because the next day I purchased a $25 tank magnet from a Danbury plumbing supply house that stopped the leak. Sclafani tech said before they were purchased by Burke, they would magnet patch, but now with Burke they only pump. Saved myself approx. $1500 for a pumping service plus the oil lost they would have just taken because their holding

I have been using Sclafani for many years and have never been disappointed. The staff is always courteous and when I place an order, it is always delivered within 24 hours. The prices they offer are competitive so I don't have to spend the time searching the area for the lowest price. And to tell you the truth, I'd pay a little more for the great customer service I get. I don't have to worry if they are going to deliver!

Sclafani, now a subsidiary of Burke Energy, was my oil provider since 2014. Recently I called to check on oil prices, something I typically don't do as I'm on autofill and trusted the company to give me a fair price. I found that they wanted to charge me 20-25% above their competitors. I can only assume that this is Burkes business model, they buy autofill clients when consuming smaller companies and then hope that people don't notice when they jack the prices. Now they're giving me a hard time in cancelling the autofill, you'd think it would be straightforward, but no, I'm being repeatedly called by clueless representatives that don't have the information or authority to do anything. In my opinion it's bordering on harassment now. On the bright side, they did delivery their overpriced
